I'm an integrative counsellor offering therapy online to people across the UK, as well as in-person on Thursdays from my office in city centre, M1 (4 min walk from St Peter's Square tram stop).

I trained in person-centred therapy, which believes that you are the expert on yourself. I have since branched out to include different types of therapy, which has allowed me to tailor my approach to best suit the needs of every client. I have specialist experience in the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, but I work with a wide range of people from all walks of life.

My practice is consent-led and trauma-informed, and rooted in an anti-oppressive stance. This means that I will never push you to talk about things you don't feel comfortable bringing up, I will take steps to ensure our sessions don't trigger or re-traumatise you, and I will never try to make you accept the oppression you experience as a way to achieve better mental health.

ABOUT ME

Elena is sits smiling by a window. They have wavy dark hair and silver jewellery.

I am a queer, neurodivergent, non-binary person, and my pronouns are they/them. I have been working in the mental health sector for the past 7 years, and as a counsellor for the last 3 years. I live in Manchester, and while I currently only work online, I'm looking to start offering face to face sessions as well soon.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am a member of BACP.  I am constantly working on improving myself as a counsellor in order to ensure my practice is sensitive, relevant, and up to standard.

I am passionate about creating a safe space where my clients can bring themselves at their worst, at their best, and anywhere in-between.

About you

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, from simply looking to make more sense of things to wanting to resolve deep-rooted issues. It can be nerve-wracking, but also empowering. Whatever the reason, if you're ready to take that first step, I'm here for you.

This will be a space just for you, where I’ll always be interested in what you bring and what you have to say. I’ll offer you both non-judgmental support and challenge, and work with you to guide you towards where you want to be.

Getting in touch

Reaching out to a therapist for the first time can sometimes feel awkward or even scary, so here's some things you could include:

  • your name (at this stage it doesn't matter if it matches your ID)

  • if you'd like to book a free taster session first (recommended) or just your first session

  • a very brief mention of why you're looking for counselling

  • your availability, if you know it

Feel free to change this to best suit you!

Thank you for reaching out. I try to respond to all enquiries within two working days.
